Yesterday we, Bob and Hedy and us, made a long day of it by driving all the way. We started at 9:00 AM and arrived at 6 PM. We did stop at Peggy Sue's in Barstow for a good lunch. We were all a bit tired! We have electricity, but water has to be hosed in from a little distance. There is no 3G network so this can't be published until we get out of here. It was quite warm but cooled down a lot at night. The sunrise was pretty this morning. Some of our group is already here - the rally doesn't start until Thursday, Oct. 4 so we'll have time to get everything set up.
