Yesterday morning one member awoke to a flat tire. We joked that it took about 8 Rotarians to change a tire! Then we took off for Beatty, check out a railroad "Y" (a spot where a train could be turned around), followed railroad lines to Rhyolite, returned to Beatty for an ice cream, and returned back to camp in time to freshen up for Happy Hour and dinner. We all stuffed on Herb's tri-tip with all the trimmings and desserts. It was a beautiful day with some clouds keeping it cooler.
