We stayed at camp today doing laundry, cleaning in the RV, taking walks, and resting. Betty made us a spaghetti dinner followed with spumoni ice cream. We made plans for what to do on the way to New Orleans and prayed that the impending flooding wouldn't affect us.

We ate breakfast. Then we packed up everything to break camp. We drove with the Lunds and Traisters to the North Little Rock KOA RV Park. We were finally able to get good cell phone service so I could retrieve voice mail messages and make some needed phone calls. We shared champagne for happy hour. We got Hedy on the phone and we all talked to her. For dinner we ate left over tritip and mashed potatoes. Betty made more of her Italian bread.
While we were camping at the Crater of Daimonds we could hear the cicadas in the trees. We also saw a lot of their exoskeletons on the ground. They have a very interesting life cycle beginning underground, then in the trees. Also we were facinated by a red cardinal who was often seen pecking at mirrors and chrome on cars and RVs. Did he think his reflection was another bird?
