We had lunch at an IHOP in Fort Stockton, TX, then drove to Van Horn, TX. Texas is big with long stretches of road! We're at the Mountain View RV Park. It was a Passport America park, but it is under new management and isn't anymore. The new manager has plans to fix it up. It is quiet and peaceful with desert vegetation and some cactus flowers. There's a ranch next to the park with pretty horses. It is very hot, dry, and windy, but the night cooled off.
