We had breakfast at a Cracker Barrell about 5 miles from the Houston East RV Park. Delicious granola pancakes with fruit and nuts! After about an hour we stopped at a Camping World to have our refrigerator looked at, but their service department was backed up for three weeks. We continued to Seguin, TX. We found Twin Palms RV Park, located just off the freeway. It is a small private park with mostly long term residents. The manager was very helpful, even helping us to hook up! We had to change to a second spot because of an electrical problem. The river ran under the freeway. After dinner we walked down to the boat dock, saw people fishing and water skiing under the noisy freeway. It was very pretty under there, but we were constantly aware of heavy traffic overhead. Unique!
There was a tree in the way of the satellite TV. It stayed hot and humid all night. We slept well to the hum of the freeway!
